Required Class Attire

Pre-Dance

Girls: Black leotard, light pink tights, white ballet slippers, and tan tap shoes with elastic closings. Hair should be pulled back and out of the dancer’s face.

Boys: Black shorts or tights, white t-shirt, white ankle socks, white ballet slippers, and black oxford tap shoes with elastic closings.

Ballet

Black leotard (camisole), light pink tights, and pink ballet slippers (full sole levels beginning through 2; ballet 3-5 split sole). Hair is to be pulled back and secured to head. No ponytails. No scrunchies.

Pointe Conditioning

Swimsuit, towel, and Thera-Band.

Pointe

Black leotard (camisole), light pink tights, and pink pointe shoes. Hair is to be pulled back and secured to head. No ponytails. No scrunchies. Pointe shoes (fitting by director).

Repertoire

Black leotard (camisole), light pink tights, and pink pointe shoes. Practice tutus required. Hair is to be pulled back and secured to head. No ponytails. No scrunchies.

Modern/Lyrical

Black leotard (camisole), light pink tights, with foot undeez or bare feet. Hair is to be pulled back and secured to head. No ponytails. No scrunchies.

Tap

Solid color leotard with tights (or leggings). No jeans. Flat tap shoes; no heels, no split soles. Taps must be tightly secured. Tap shoes must fit with socks. We recommend students carry a screwdriver in their dance bag. Hair should be pulled back and out of the dancer’s face.

Jazz

Black split sole jazz shoes. Solid color leotard with tights (or leggings). Hair should be pulled back and out of the dancer’s face. Jazz levels 2-5 may require tan shoes as well.

Leaps & Turns

Black split sole jazz shoes. Solid color leotard with tights (or leggings). Hair should be pulled back and out of the dance’s face.

Hip Hop

Black Hip Hop sneakers.  Loose clothing which allows movement.  Clothes should fit appropriately.  No jeans!  Hair should be pulled back and out of the dancer’s face.

Tumbling

Barefoot. Solid color leotard with tights (or leggings).  No loose over garments.  Hair should be pulled back and out of the gymnasts’ face.

Boys Breakin'

Converse All Star shoes. Loose clothing which allows movement.

Musical Theatre

Jazz or Ballet attire. Students may be required to have tap, jazz, character and/or ballet shoes.

R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance)

Pre-Primary and Primary Levels: Lilac leotard with matching skirt. Pink tights, pink full sole ballet shoes. Hair neatly back in a bun. (See Store)

Levels 1-5: Navy leotard, black practice character skirt, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes and black character sheos. Hair neatly back in a bun. (See Store)

CCA (Cecchetti)

Same as ballet requirements, plus current grade level book. (See store)
